Three Lessons I’ve Learned as a Business Owner

Last week marked a significant milestone for me – the second anniversary of my business. As I reflect on this journey, I'm reminded of the roller coaster it has been – a ride filled with lessons, challenges, and incredible growth.

Over these last two years, I wanted to share with you three invaluable lessons I’ve learned as a business owner:

Lesson #1:

One of the most profound lessons has been embracing the multifaceted role of an entrepreneur and human. Wearing all the hats, from the visionary to the accountant, has been both empowering and humbling. It's a constant trust fall, every day, as I learn to be my own authority in this venture. I've discovered that amidst the trial and error, the key is finding what uniquely works for my business, even when the path seems uncertain.

Lesson #2:

Success, I've learned, transcends monetary gains. It's about crafting a life of ease, peace, and freedom. For me, it's witnessing the impact I can make, both in my life and in the lives of my clients. Their transformations, their 'aha' moments, fuel my purpose. Each client's journey is a testament to bravery, trust, and the power of saying 'yes' to coaching.

Lesson #3:

This entrepreneurial path is far from linear. It's a journey of ebbs and flows, of learning to let go, simplify, and shed perfectionist tendencies. Growth isn't just about the business; it's a profound self-discovery journey, an opportunity to reinvent oneself, to confront old patterns, and emerge stronger.

I share this not to boast but to remind you, my dear readers, that your journey is just as remarkable. If you find yourself in a season of doubt or a moment of feeling 'not enough', know that it's okay. The human path is riddled with such moments. Remember, each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. Celebrate it. Celebrate yourself.

I encourage you to find joy in the little victories. Perhaps it's a task completed, a fear conquered, or a challenge faced head-on. These seemingly small achievements are the building blocks of monumental success. Embrace your journey with hope and resilience. Allow yourself the grace to navigate the ebbs and flows, just as nature gracefully shifts from summer to fall.

In closing, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you. Your support and encouragement have been my guiding light. Here's to more milestones, more growth, and more celebrations – both big and small.
